Housekeeper - Per Diem
About The Position
The Housekeeper works at Bristol Glen, a continuing care retirement community in Newton, New Jersey. This per diem role helps keep residents’ apartments and shared spaces clean and safe. Shifts are picked up as needed and are scheduled on weekdays; hours vary according to community needs. The listed shift is 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with no weekend shifts. Pay is $18.06 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18, able to read and follow safety labels and instructions in English, pass a drug test and background check, and meet the flu-vaccination requirement or receive a medical or religious exemption. A high school diploma or GED and relevant cleaning or customer service experience are preferred, but housekeeping experience is not required.

Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize resident apartments and bathrooms.
- Clean and dust shared spaces, including lounges, hallways, and public restrooms.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in common areas.
- Follow infection-prevention and chemical-safety procedures each shift.
- Track cleaning supplies and notify a supervisor when supplies are low or something needs repair.
