Housekeeper (Part Time, 15 Hours/Week: Tues, Thurs, Sat)
About The Position
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role works 15 hours per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with a starting pay rate of $19.14 per hour. Housekeepers clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices; follow sanitation and infection-control procedures; document cleaning activities; and report maintenance or safety issues. They also interact positively with residents, staff, and guests while providing customer service. HCSG describes its commitment as positively impacting the communities it serves and enhancing customer and resident experiences. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to carry out repetitive tasks and follow instructions, and the physical ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds and remain active for extended periods. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. Residency within the service area is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
- Ability to work around cleaning products.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Residency within the service area.

Responsibilities
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
- Clean and sanitize areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
- Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
- Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
