About The Position

Spring Arbor of Midlothian, VA is seeking a hardworking, dependable, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain the cleanliness of the community and create a positive environment for residents. The role requires knowledge of safety and sanitary rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be familiar with the safe operation of cleaning equipment, such as vacuums and spray bottles, and the safe use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Pass a criminal background screening.
• Adhere to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy; associates are subject to the policy.

• At least one year of housekeeping experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in using the Company Checklist and report problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Clean occupied apartments, respite apartments, and guest apartments as scheduled using the Company Checklist; report problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Detail clean halls and other common areas as scheduled or when requested by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Keep an inventory of cleaning supplies and report needed items to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Keep laundry rooms and housekeeping/linen rooms clean and organized.
• Clean dryer lint traps daily and clean the area behind washer and dryer equipment weekly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
