Housekeeper - St Barnabas Nursing Home
About The Position
St. Barnabas Nursing Home is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to provide cleaning services throughout the facility. The role includes cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, kitchens, common areas, and other spaces; restocking paper products and soap; and maintaining clean floors, carpets, and equipment. The Housekeeper also attends required training and staff meetings and performs other related duties as assigned. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday daylight position at St. Barnabas Nursing Home in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania. The role requires interacting with team members, other staff, and residential clientele, and moving around the facility to provide cleaning services.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to interact with team members, other staff, and residential clientele.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing).
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
- Ability to navigate and move around the facility to provide cleaning services.

Responsibilities
- Clean, mop, and disinfect restrooms daily.
- Restock paper products and soaps.
- Vacuum, dust, disinfect, and clean restrooms and kitchens; remove trash to outside containers.
- Vacuum carpeted common areas daily, remove stains, and clean carpets as needed.
- Mop tile and hard-surface floors daily.
- Clean and maintain equipment daily and report repairs to a supervisor.
- Attend required in-service education training and staff meetings.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
