Dishwasher - The Village at St Barnabas
About The Position
The Village at St. Barnabas is seeking a dishwasher to clean and sanitize dishes, pots, silverware, and pans, and help maintain kitchen and dining areas. The role includes operating a commercial dishwashing machine, sweeping and mopping kitchen, cooler, and dish room floors, and taking trash and discarded cardboard to the dumpster area each shift. Cleaning and organizational duties must be completed accurately and on time. The dishwasher also works with team members and other staff and performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor. The position is offered as full-time or part-time, with various shifts.
Requirements
- Ability to safely operate a commercial dishwashing machine.
- Ability to move at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position.
- Ability to navigate and move about the facility and kitchen area.
- Ability to work with team members and other staff.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize incoming dishes, pots, silverware, and pans.
- Participate in cleaning kitchen and dining areas.
- Safely operate a commercial dishwashing machine.
- Sweep and mop kitchen, cooler, and dish room floors each shift.
- Take all trash and discarded cardboard to the dumpster area each shift.
- Complete cleaning and organizational duties accurately and on time.
- Work with team members and other staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
