About The Position

Under the general direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Housekeeper helps ensure that the facility and resident apartments are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner. The role serves residents and prospective residents, cleans apartments and common areas, performs laundry service where applicable, monitors public restrooms, and reports areas or items needing repair. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor or Executive Director.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of customer service to residents.
• Engage in visits with prospective residents.
• Clean resident apartments, including vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting, dusting, emptying trash, making beds, and providing linen service where applicable.
• Provide personal laundry service where applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the entire building.
• Monitor public restrooms throughout the day to ensure cleanliness and adequate supplies.
• Maintain regulatory compliance where applicable.
• Transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Note areas or articles in need of repair and report them to the Assistant Director.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or Executive Director.
