About The Position
The Housekeeper helps create a clean, welcoming, and guest-centered hotel environment. The role includes cleaning and preparing guest rooms, equipment, lobbies, hallways, restrooms, carpets, and furniture; making beds and replenishing linens and supplies; maintaining a stocked housekeeping cart; and completing deep-cleaning tasks such as replacing air-conditioning filters and painting. Housekeepers also respond to guest requests, deliver items, provide friendly customer service, and follow safe work practices while helping protect guests and hotel property. The position is at The Brandywine Radnor, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, a full-service property on Philadelphia’s Main Line with 121 guest rooms, seven luxury suites, on-site dining, and event spaces for weddings, meetings, and private gatherings.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms and equipment.
- Clean lobbies, hallways, restrooms, carpets, and furniture.
- Stock the housekeeping cart with needed supplies.
- Make beds with fresh linens and replenish guest-room supplies.
- Perform deep-cleaning tasks, including changing air-conditioning filters and painting.
- Respond to guest requests and deliver items.
- Provide friendly customer service to guests.
- Help maintain guest and property safety by monitoring sensitive areas and following safe work practices.
