The Housekeeper at Laurel Grove by Barclay House is responsible for maintaining the facility in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner. The position is scheduled from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Requirements
- A caring heart and willingness to serve others.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Desire to work with seniors.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the facility in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.
- Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
- Use appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedures and state requirements.
- Properly use and maintain equipment.
- Transport trash and hazardous waste to the appropriate disposal area.
- Replenish supplies as required.
