About The Position
The Housekeeper cleans and maintains guest rooms, equipment, lobbies, hallways, restrooms, carpets, furniture, and other public spaces to create a clean and welcoming hotel environment. The role includes making beds with fresh linens, restocking supplies, maintaining a ready housekeeping cart, and completing deep-cleaning tasks such as changing air-conditioning filters and adding paint. Housekeepers also assist guests by responding to requests and delivering items, provide friendly customer service, and help maintain the safety of guests, property, and coworkers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms and equipment.
- Clean lobbies, hallways, restrooms, carpets, furniture, and other public spaces.
- Keep the housekeeping cart stocked and ready for use.
- Make beds with fresh linens and restock guest-room supplies.
- Complete deep-cleaning tasks, including changing air-conditioning filters and painting.
- Respond to guest needs and deliver requested items.
- Provide friendly customer service to guests.
- Help protect guests and hotel property by monitoring sensitive areas.
