About The Position

LR-Associates, LLC (LRA) is seeking an experienced Housekeeper Supervisor to support the St. Louis VA Medical Center in St. Louis, MO. LRA is a Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that provides Logistics Support; Facilities Management (Operations & Maintenance); Program Management; and Security & Intelligence solutions to Federal, State, and Local Governments as well as Private Industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in the Environmental-Hospital Services industry, specifically with sanitation teams, with at least the last 2 years in a hospital or accredited healthcare facility. Detailed knowledge of cleaning procedures and customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to manage and oversee cleaning schedules and requirements. Applicants must be US citizens and able to pass a Federal Government background check.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years' experience in supervising in the Environmental-Hospital Services industry, specifically with Sanitation teams.
Minimum of the last 2 years shall be in a hospital or other accredited healthcare facility.
Detailed knowledge of cleaning procedures and customer service skills is a must.
Managing and overseeing the cleaning schedule and requirements.
Must currently possess or willing to obtain within 12 months; Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Profession (CHESP) issued by Association for the Healthcare Environment (AHE) or Certified Registerd Exeutive Housekeeper (C/REH) issued by the International Executive Housekeepers Association (IEHA).
Applicants must be US citizen.
Must be able to pass a background check performed by the Federal Government.

Responsibilities

Supervise the work activities of janitorial personnel in a professional environment.
Assign duties, inspect work, and investigate complaints regarding janitorial services and take corrective action.
May purchase janitorial supplies, manage stock level of inventory, train new employees, and recommend dismissals.
