About The Position

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Housekeeper and help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role supports positive resident and customer experiences and involves routine housekeeping, sanitation, infection control, and customer service. The position requires residency within the service area and the ability to perform repetitive tasks and physical activities throughout the workday.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Be able to work around cleaning products.
• Be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices as part of daily housekeeping tasks.
• Clean and sanitize areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
