About The Position

CiminoCare is a family-owned company providing care and hospitality to seniors. The Housekeeper maintains a clean, sanitary, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The role ensures resident rooms, common areas, and assigned workspaces meet cleanliness and infection-control standards while treating seniors with respect and compassion. This is an hourly, full-time AM position with a 4/2 rotation. The listed salary is $17.00.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and respectful attitude toward seniors.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to push or pull carts weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to operate cleaning tools and equipment.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to cleaning chemicals and odors.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Healthcare or senior living experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize residents’ rooms, including bathrooms, kitchenettes, break rooms, dining rooms, and living areas.
• Clean common areas such as hallways, lounges, dining rooms, offices, and restrooms.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces.
• Remove trash and recycling from resident rooms and common areas.
• Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
• Follow infection-control and safety procedures.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Respond to resident requests courteously and promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect residents’ privacy.
• Follow SafeT-team protocols and other best-safe practices when filling or using cleaners, detergents, and other chemicals, including using goggles and gloves.
• Complete room changeovers before and after resident moves.
• Assist with laundry services as needed.
• Support special cleaning projects.
• Perform other assigned duties.
