Housekeeper - Room Attendant
About The Position
Join our team as a Housekeeper/Room Attendant (Ama de Llaves) at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Idaho Falls. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule. Pay is hourly plus tips. Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience is helpful, but not required
- Must be clean, professional, and well-groomed
- Must possess good organizational/time management skills
- Must be dependable and reliable
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be in good physical condition as the job requires frequent pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, handling, and grasping
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds (lifting above the shoulder is also required)
- Able to relate well to hotel guests and coworkers
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Able to learn quickly
- Able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and ask for clarification when necessary
Responsibilities
- Cleans guest rooms according to hotel brand standards
- Performs assigned shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Restocks guest rooms and bathrooms with supplies and towels
- Responds to guest inquiries and requests
- Moves furniture and other items as needed
- Reports maintenance issues to the supervisor or engineering staff
- Maintains a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment at all times
- Understands emergency procedures for the entire hotel
- Assists in the hotel laundry as needed
