Requirements

• Must be clean, professional, and well-groomed
• Must possess good organizational/time management skills
• Must be reliable and dependable
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be in good physical condition as the job requires frequent pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, stooping, handling, and grasping
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds (lifting above shoulder also required)
• Able to relate well to hotel guests and coworkers
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Able to learn quickly
• Able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and ask for clarification when needed

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans hotel rooms to brand standards
• Performs assigned shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Replenishes rooms and bathrooms with supplies and towels
• Responds to guest inquiries and requests
• Moves furniture and other items as needed
• Reports maintenance issues to the supervisor or engineering staff
• Maintains a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment at all times
• Understands emergency procedures for the entire hotel
• Assists in the hotel laundry as needed
