About The Position

The housekeeper/floor crew performs a wide variety of cleaning tasks, including housekeeping, floor care, and between-case surgical cleaning. The role supports patient care, surgical, physician, office, and administrative areas, helping maintain a clean and safe environment for staff, customers, visitors, and patients. The employee ensures comprehensive cleaning in accordance with department requirements, regulatory practices, and procedures; maintains stock and supplies; and provides other departmental support as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write and follow oral and written instructions and established procedures.
• Possess a positive attitude and display excellent customer interactions.
• Maintain exemplary personal hygiene and appearance.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience in an institutional setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping and floor-care cleaning tasks, including between-case surgical cleaning.
• Provide housekeeping support to patient care, surgical, physician, office, and administrative areas.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for staff, customers, visitors, and patients.
• Complete cleaning according to department requirements and applicable regulatory practices and procedures.
• Maintain stock and supplies.
• Provide other support to the department as needed.
