House Manager & Family Assistant

Sage HausOak Ridge, NC

About The Position

We are a busy family of five, with school-age children, balancing full-time careers with raising three energetic kids and caring for our two pets. One of us works from a nearby office (and sometimes from home, while the other commutes to a nearby city, and we’re always trying to make the most of our time together. Family time and intentional parenting are incredibly important to us, and we’re looking for someone who can handle all the behind-the-scenes tasks—organizing, scheduling, and planning—so we can focus on what really matters. We need someone who can help keep things running smoothly, taking the prep work off our plates so we can truly enjoy time with our kids. Family values are at the heart of everything we do, and we want someone who shares that commitment to help create an efficient, well-managed home that allows us to cherish our time as a family. This role is less about childcare and more about creating structure and flow. We need someone who thrives on organization, loves bringing order to busy environments, and takes initiative without needing constant direction. The right person will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing calendars, errands, household coordination, vendor appointments, and planning ahead so that our evenings and weekends can truly be focused on connection—not logistics. Trust, discretion, and reliability are extremely important to us. We are looking for someone who values family as much as we do and understands that their support directly impacts the quality of time we get to spend with our children. We hope to build a long-term relationship with someone who sees this not just as a job, but as a meaningful partnership in supporting a thriving, well-managed home. Our home is busy, warm, and full of life. We appreciate clear communication, flexibility when schedules shift, and a positive attitude. In return, we value and respect the people who support us, aim to create a collaborative environment, and deeply appreciate someone who takes pride in helping a household run seamlessly.
