About The Position

We are a lively, high-energy family of four, based in a fun and active suburb outside of Denver, with two children (ages 7 and 6) and a pet hamster. Our household is bustling with activity, including frequent visits from neighborhood kids and hosting family events. As small business owners, we manage our businesses in Denver and value the flexibility to travel as a family, including frequent trips to Montana. We follow a hybrid homeschool model, with children in school two days a week and homeschooled three days. We seek an experienced, proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, energetic household. The ideal candidate is organized, takes initiative in managing various household tasks without constant direction, and maintains a positive, optimistic attitude. Strong communication skills with timely responses are essential. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as the role involves helping in various areas, from home organization to occasional meal prep. Experience in a range of house management responsibilities is required. Key qualities include a project management mindset, being proactive and anticipatory of household needs, and acting as a collaborative household partner to align on preferences, routines, and long-term vision while confidently leading the execution and follow-through.

Responsibilities

  • Daily tidying and resetting rooms, prepping for cleaner visits
  • Load/unload dishwasher, wipe surfaces, vacuum high traffic areas
  • Organize closets, pantry, and seasonal items
  • Oversee household calendars and schedules
  • Assist with seasonal swaps (clothing, décor, bedding)
  • Prepare for family events and guest stays
  • Manage donation drop-offs and seasonal packing/unpacking
  • Maintain indoor plants
  • Track and restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies
  • Create and manage household shopping lists
  • Run errands: grocery shopping, dry cleaning, returns, gift shopping
  • Coordinate and manage household orders (Amazon, Costco, Target, etc.)
  • Assist with occasional meal prep (chopping, ingredient prep)
  • Shop for groceries based on meal plans
  • Clean kitchen post-prep and manage kitchen tidiness
  • Manage family laundry: washing, folding, and organizing
  • Handle ironing, steaming, and special care for delicates
  • Manage linens: rotate bedding, refresh towels, restock essentials
  • Keep laundry areas tidy and well-stocked with supplies
  • Occasional check-in on hamster while family travels
  • Manage multiple properties and ensure readiness for family or guest use (Montana Home)
  • Research and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and quotes (mostly Montana Home)
  • Communicate with local Montana contacts for property management
  • Supervise and assist with property turnover readiness
  • Provide occasional back-up childcare when needed
  • Assist with deep cleaning (e.g., fridge, oven, baseboards)
  • Maintain and refresh specific zones (entryways, garage, mudroom)
  • Organize seasonal items (decorations, gear)
  • Help with travel planning, scheduling, and logistics
  • Assist with coordination of events, parties, and guest prep
