Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Create and/or maintain household organization systems.
  • Perform daily resets and prepare the home for weekly cleaners.
  • Conduct light tidying, including dishes, surfaces, and vacuuming high-traffic areas.
  • Manage seasonal swaps for clothing, décor, and bedding.
  • Prepare and coordinate donation drop-offs.
  • Assist with packing/unpacking for travel.
  • Perform indoor plant care.
  • Change batteries, light bulbs, and smoke detectors.
  • Restock pantry, refrigerator, and household supplies.
  • Manage running household supply lists.
  • Oversee household orders and subscriptions.
  • Handle returns, dry cleaning, and gift shopping.
  • Manage mail and package handling, including breaking down boxes.
  • Prepare 3 proteins weekly.
  • Prepare breakfast 2-3 times per week.
  • Make grab-and-go items like oatmeal, chia pudding, and cut vegetables.
  • Plate food and facilitate family meals when children return from school.
  • Perform grocery shopping with attention to detail and high standards for produce quality.
  • Follow dietary preferences for whole foods, healthy, kid-friendly meals.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety protocols.
  • Complete kitchen clean-up and maintenance.
  • Wash, fold, and organize laundry.
  • Manage weekly linen rotation.
  • Maintain tidy and well-stocked laundry areas.
  • Complete car washes and general vehicle cleaning.
  • Organize family vehicles and implement a garbage system.
  • Fuel vehicles as needed.
  • Perform regular pick-ups/drop-offs.
  • Provide light supervision / back-up childcare.
  • Prep backpacks, clothing, and snacks for children.
  • Handle kid-related errands.
  • Perform occasional deep cleans (fridge, oven, baseboards, couch).
  • Refresh garage, mudroom, and entry areas.
  • Clean humidifiers/air purifiers.
  • Undertake organizational projects for toys and gear.
  • Collaborate on travel planning and logistics.
  • Manage calendar using the Skylight system.
  • Collaborate on receipt and budget tracking.
  • Research and coordinate repairs and quotes.
  • Manage outdoor spaces, including creating an outdoor toy organizational system.
