We are looking for a House Supervisor to join our collaborative team at Memorial Health! This role acts as a house-wide supervisor, serving as a resource to all departments to assist with the coordination of care for patients transitioning between different levels of care. The House Supervisor collaborates with the Nurse Executive, leaders, hospital personnel, and other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes during evening/night hours. This position also serves as a liaison to other leaders and the Nurse Executive for off-shifts. The role involves assessing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the delivery of safe and effective patient-centered care, reporting significant events, rounding with team members, assigning and delegating patient care tasks, ensuring infection control precautions and procedures are followed, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels. The House Supervisor will also assist other team members by providing direct patient care as needed, monitoring supply levels, and maintaining accurate data collection and documentation. Additionally, this role facilitates and mentors others for professional growth, participates in continuing education, promotes and educates team members on practice changes, monitors training, holds team members accountable, and contributes to performance improvement initiatives. The House Supervisor also facilitates patient satisfaction rounds and attends daily nurse huddles.
