About The Position

The House Supervisor manages and coordinates hospital departments and personnel during off shifts and weekends when direct line managers are absent. The role advocates for patient care, staff, and the hospital, ensuring high-quality patient care in accordance with RAMC's mission, vision, values, service behaviors, policies, procedures, and regulations. The House Supervisor oversees patient placement, ensures adequate staffing resources, and supports safe and effective care delivery during off shifts and weekends. The schedule is three 12-hour shifts per week, plus a weekend rotation. Weekend shifts are scheduled as needed. Night shift hours are 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Current RN licensure in the State of Wisconsin.
BLS certification.
PALS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
Meet health requirements.
Minimum of two years of acute nursing experience.
Work effectively with others, using tact, discretion, and diplomacy.
Demonstrate leadership and teaching ability.
Demonstrate organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to exercise independent judgment.

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred.
Advanced certification preferred.
