About The Position
SSH-Dallas Downtown is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. The House Supervisor (RN) provides leadership and compassionate care during a 12-hour night shift, supporting staff, patients, and families while helping maintain effective facility operations. The position includes an extensive orientation program, career development opportunities, clinical ladder programs, and continuing education support. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.
Requirements
- Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS certification required at hire.
- ACLS certification required at hire.
Nice To Haves
- Five years of critical care or progressive clinical care experience.
- Prior clinical management experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Responsibilities
- Effectively manage resources during the assigned shift.
- Create a healthy work atmosphere that promotes team and individual growth.
- Monitor the workplace to ensure company policies and procedures are maintained.
- Serve as a clinical resource to staff, patients, and families.
- Work cooperatively with the ancillary interdisciplinary team to identify and solve patient-specific and facility-wide needs and improve operations.
