About The Position

The House Attendant supports the resort’s housekeeping team by maintaining public areas and assisting room attendants, helping ensure guests enjoy a clean and comfortable stay. The role involves guest interaction, collecting and transporting linen and trash, replenishing floor pantries, delivering requested items to guest rooms, and performing room attendant duties when needed. The position also supports heavy lifting during deep or spring cleaning and follows department standard operating procedures for cleaning and handling materials.

Requirements

Housekeeping experience is desirable.
Neat, pleasant personality.
Time management skills.
Ability to work on feet for an extended period.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to move, traverse, and position oneself to reach floor corners and high places; observe conditions and detect odors; and navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces.
Ability to operate spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters.
Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well.
Work as a team to accomplish resort and hotel cleanliness goals.
Walk assigned floors at the beginning and end of each shift to collect bags, trash, and soiled linen.
Pick up clean linen and refill linen par stock in each floor pantry.
Deliver towels, cribs, cots, and other requested items to guest rooms.
Perform room attendant duties when necessary.
Refill guest amenities and supply par stock in each floor pantry.
Assist room attendants with heavy lifting during super cleaning or spring cleaning of rooms.
Clean public areas according to prescribed methods and department standard operating procedures.
Remove soiled linen and trash from service areas and take them to appropriate locations as prescribed.
Respond in a friendly and helpful manner to guests and team members.
