House Manager

Sage HausEscondido, CA

About The Position

We are a down-to-earth family of four and a golden retriever, living in North County San Diego. This season of our life is dynamic with work, school, and activities, and we truly value the goal of being present with our kids and creating a home that feels calm, organized, and supportive of our daily rhythm. With two working parents, our schedules are full and fast-moving, and like many working families, the pressure points tend to show up in the mornings and evenings, with weekends spent on household catch up. We are at a point where the day-to-day household responsibilities—laundry, groceries, meal prep, and general upkeep—have started to take over our time and energy. We are looking for someone supportive who can step in and take ownership of these areas so we can spend less time managing tasks and more time doing what we love as a family! We value a home that feels orderly, well-run, and taken care of without constant oversight. We are seeking someone who can bring consistency, reduce the mental load, and create a sense of ease in our weekly flow—someone who understands how much the small, daily tasks add up and can quietly and effectively take them off our plate. An experienced, self-led House Manager who takes pride in creating order, efficiency, and calm within a home. You naturally see what needs to be done, take initiative without waiting for direction, and follow through with consistency and care. You bring a professional, no-nonsense approach—efficient, capable, and reliable—while also being easygoing and adaptable. There’s a strong ability to step into a home, assess what’s needed, and get things done without creating friction or requiring constant input. Highly organized and systems-minded, you create and maintain routines that support a well-functioning household. Whether managing laundry, keeping the home reset, or staying ahead of groceries and supplies, you think ahead and operate with ownership. Flexibility comes naturally—you’re able to pivot as priorities shift and understand that every home operates differently. You’re comfortable starting where things are, building trust, and evolving your role over time. You respect privacy and boundaries, with a clear understanding of discretion in a private home. Thoughtful and intuitive, you stay focused on doing your job well without being intrusive.
