About The Position

The House Manager will report to the Director of Recovery Services and interact with senior and clinical management. The primary responsibilities include assisting staff in the day-to-day operations of a sober living environment, facilitating house meetings and groups, monitoring and mentoring clients, and managing the client experience. The House Manager will also ensure a structured environment conducive to client recovery and be familiar with all Crestone's staff, programs, and properties.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Able to navigate a computer and use basic software.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must be available and on-site during evening hours (7:00 PM-7:00 AM), daily to provide coverage.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Some work experience required, work experience in helping profession preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold all Crestone’s Policy and Procedures
  • Act as a Liaison between patients and staff and relay pertinent patient information, including observations, to appropriate clinical and recovery staff
  • Facilitate weekly house meetings
  • Facilitate morning and evening discipline groups
  • Facilitate daily chores
  • Med Observation
  • Assist in Admission/Intake of the sober living environment
  • Keep all compliance, training, and continued education up to date.
  • Monitoring of client activities
  • Client safety checks
  • Maintain a clean environment that is tour ready at all times
  • Perform duties assigned by Director of Recovery Services
  • Supervise daily patient operations and always act in a manner sensitive to their needs and best interest
  • Provide thorough, accurate, and timely documentation of any services delivered to patients
  • Communicate and set limits with culturally diverse patients
  • Maintain the safety of the patients and the security of the residence
  • Protect patient confidentiality in accordance with company policy
  • Present in the residence from 7:00pm to 7:00am
