About The Position

Compass, Inc. is a progressive, non-profit organization that supports individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We are accepting applications for House Manager positions in Camp Spring, MD to manage the day-to-day activities of the residential facility of Compass. This Position requires ability to effectively manage behavioral challenges, provide detailed attention to medical needs, and develop recreational skills and activities for the individuals residing at the group home. Additionally, this position ensures staff supervision and coverage for the facility, ensures the overall health, safety, and welfare of the individuals residing in the facility, coordinates proper care and follow-through with medical appointments and ensures adherence to COMAR regulations, DDA standards, HIPAA regulations, and other legal and regulatory standards.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
At least two years' experience working in human services preferably with people with developmental disabilities and/or mental health disorders.
Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Must be CPR First Aid certified or obtain prior to starting.

Nice To Haves

Prior supervisory experience.
Completion of college-level coursework in a related field.
