We are a warm, close-knit, health-conscious family seeking thoughtful, long-term support to help create more ease, consistency, and calm within our home and evening routines. Like many busy modern families, we are balancing full schedules, responsibilities, and the day-to-day demands of family life, and are admittedly feeling a bit overextended in this season. With two working parents and a lively 4 yr old son, our hope is to create more breathing room and ease in our daily lives with someone mature, dependable, and highly attuned who can step in as a calming, supportive presence and help bring organization, follow-through, and consistency into our week. We are looking for someone interested in building a long-term relationship with our family and becoming a trusted, supportive presence within our home. A grounded, reliable, and emotionally intelligent professional who genuinely enjoys supportive work and helping others feel organized, cared for, and at ease. You are proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to operate independently while remaining collaborative and coachable. This role is ideal for someone who respects the privacy and trust required within a family home and enjoys thoughtful support work: including meal prep, household organization, errands, light administrative tasks, and helping maintain smooth evening routines. Openness to occasional organization or administrative projects during the workweek is appreciated. A strong commitment to the evening schedule and routine is essential. We are seeking someone dependable, discreet, and able to operate quietly and independently while supporting the evening flow of the home — including kitchen resets, meal prep, organization, and light administrative support. This position is best suited for someone who genuinely loves creating ease for others, lives nearby, and is looking for a meaningful long-term part-time commitment with a family. Requirements

  • Maintain a smoke-free environment

  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Wash, cut, and prep vegetables
  • Support meal prep tasks such as soaking or sprouting beans
  • Prepare school lunches for the child
  • Manage the core evening kitchen routine (7:00-9:00 PM): cleaning dishes, rinsing before loading the dishwasher, putting away clean items, and prepping the kitchen for the next day, as well as doing an overall home reset and tidy.
  • Order groceries 2-3 times per week (deliveries arrive 6:00-7:00 AM to avoid waking the household)
  • Unpack dry goods upon arrival (parents handle perishables in the morning)
  • Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies
  • Create and manage running household supply lists (toilet paper, soap, laundry detergent, etc.)
  • Manage household orders and subscriptions (Amazon, Costco, Target)
  • Handle Amazon returns and donation drop-offs
  • Occasional dry cleaning runs (once every few months)
  • Sort and recycle mail
  • Break down boxes for recycling
  • Support and create/maintain household organization systems
  • Complete daily 15-minute resets of living room and kitchen areas
  • Manage seasonal swaps for bedding and décor
  • Prepare and coordinate donation drop-offs
  • Change batteries, light bulbs, and smoke detectors quarterly
  • Occasional deep cleans of the fridge, oven, stairs, baseboards, and air purifiers (monthly or every 2 months)
  • Schedule maintenance for the family vehicle
  • Occasional car resets and tidying as needed
  • Schedule and coordinate repairs, quotes, and property maintenance (parents will be home for appointments)
  • Schedule gutter cleaning and other first-time house maintenance tasks
  • Manage administrative projects
  • Schedule appointments as needed
  • Support various administrative projects with a tech-savvy skill set
  • Learn and use Notion for family systems management
  • Assist with vacation planning as needed
  • Ability to flexibly step in and support childcare 1-2 times a month
  • Occasional overflow dog walks (usually a quick walk around the block on busy days)
