About The Position

The House Manager / Residential Manager is the accountable operational leader of an assigned group home or supervised apartment serving adults with developmental disabilities. The role owns the home’s day-to-day operations and is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, welcoming, person-centered, compliant, and inspection-ready environment; directing staff; ensuring required coverage; overseeing participant services; and ensuring that records and reports are accurate, complete, timely, and available for review. The position requires the management schedule and additional reasonable hours as needed, including scheduled on-call and emergency-response obligations. The Manager oversees staffing, participant health and services, medications, appointments, incidents, quality assurance, household operations, records, and regulatory and company compliance. The role also serves as an operational liaison with participants, families, guardians, case managers, healthcare providers, pharmacies, interdisciplinary teams, and company departments. Work may take place in residential homes, participant residences, community locations, vehicles, offices, and other service settings, and may involve bodily fluids, challenging behaviors, fast-paced or crisis situations, and substantial responsibility for health and safety.
