About The Position

This is a part-time role, 30 hours per week, 4 days a week, with flexible scheduling options. The position is hybrid, combining on-site and remote work. The compensation is $35-$40 per hour, based on experience. The start date is August 2026. The family is seeking someone to serve as the connective tissue of the household, managing daily details, keeping projects moving forward, coordinating with existing staff, and creating systems for smoother operations. The role involves bringing organization, consistency, and proactive support to household operations across multiple properties, with a focus on organizational projects, laundry, and household logistics. Requirements

  • Reliable transportation required
  • CPR and First Aid certified, or willing to obtain prior to start
  • General vaccinations preferred; must be willing to obtain Tdap vaccination

Responsibilities

  • Create, implement, and maintain household organization systems throughout the home
  • Perform daily resets and tidying of high-traffic areas and surfaces
  • Ensure the home is organized and decluttered, preparing it for weekly cleaning services
  • Maintain high-clutter zones such as the laundry room, mudroom, kitchen paper corner, and entry areas
  • Manage kids' clothing inventory, sizing organization, and seasonal swaps
  • Perform indoor plant care for over 50 houseplants using an existing watering schedule app
  • Change batteries, light bulbs, and smoke detectors as needed
  • Provide support for holiday and birthday parties, including invitations, logistics, and gift acquisition
  • Assist with packing and unpacking for family travel
  • Perform occasional deep cleans beyond the scope of weekly cleaners, such as the fridge, oven, and baseboards
  • Conduct weekly maintenance for the hot tub and cold plunge
  • Refresh and organize garage, mudroom, and entry zones
  • Coordinate organizational projects for areas like the linen closet, garage, and play areas
  • Handle full laundry service for the household: washing, folding, and putting away
  • Establish and maintain a laundry system and coordinate with existing household staff on laundry responsibilities
  • Perform ironing, steaming, and care for special garments
  • Manage weekly linen and towel rotation and refresh
  • Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies
  • Coordinate with the family chef on grocery needs and pantry inventory
  • Manage household subscriptions and orders (e.g., Amazon, Costco, Target)
  • Handle returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping, and mail and package management
  • Coordinate and complete household shopping, including bulk purchasing and grocery replenishment
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors, landscapers, cleaners, and other service providers
  • Research vendors, gather proposals, and provide recommendations for repairs and projects
  • Coordinate current open projects, including pending contractor work
  • Oversee vendor scheduling across all properties
  • Manage logistics and maintenance coordination across three properties
  • Coordinate with service providers for the nearby property (pool company, landscapers, pond cleaning)
  • Support potential Airbnb/hosting plans for the nearby property
  • Serve as the primary contact for the existing on-site Airbnb manager at the cabin property
  • Oversee home systems including HVAC, security, and pool
  • Conduct routine property check-ins and ensure readiness across all locations
  • Manage the family calendar, including school events, extracurriculars, appointments, and household scheduling
  • Proactively communicate upcoming events and reminders to both parents
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments as needed (e.g., family dental, massage subscription)
  • Assist with travel logistics, including flights and hotel bookings
  • Plan and coordinate events and birthday parties
  • Provide occasional backup childcare to support the existing childcare team
  • Perform occasional extracurricular drop-offs and pickups
  • Provide overnight coverage during parent travel (approximately twice per year, preferred but not required)
  • Be comfortable being present with children of all ages, including a newborn
  • Schedule and track maintenance for family vehicles
  • Handle fueling, cleaning, and organizing of family vehicles
  • Track registration and insurance documentation for family vehicles
  • Schedule vet and grooming appointments for the family dog
  • Perform occasional walks and outdoor play for the family dog
  • Maintain pet supplies
