We're a family of five living in Atlanta - two professionals balancing demanding careers with the joys and chaos of raising three energetic kids. Between work responsibilities, school pickups, sports schedules, and the never-ending stream of permission slips and Venmo requests, we've reached a point where we want to be more present for what matters most: quality time with our children, our meaningful work, and taking care of ourselves. We're looking for a trusted partner who enjoys bringing order to busy environments, takes pride in helping a household run smoothly, and finds satisfaction in checking things off a list. We have an afternoon nanny we adore who focuses on childcare, and we're now ready to bring on a House Manager who can take ownership of the household operations that keep our home running smoothly. Responsibilities

  • Manage morning routine for three children, getting them ready & out the door for school
  • Provide occasional school drop-offs using family vehicle
  • Prepare backpacks, clothing, and snacks
  • Serve as backup childcare
  • Provide occasional date night coverage
  • Create and maintain organizational systems throughout the home
  • Daily resets and prep home for cleaners (1x every few months)
  • Light tidying (dishes, surfaces, vacuum high-traffic areas)
  • Coordinate with house cleaners and be present during their visits
  • Complete seasonal clothing swaps
  • Prepare and coordinate donation drop-offs
  • Maintain household systems: change batteries, light bulbs, check smoke detectors
  • Handle small repairs and fixes (example: replacing batteries in toys)
  • Select and maintain indoor plants
  • Packing/unpacking for travel
  • Holiday prep
  • Prepare HelloFresh meals 3x per week
  • Wash, cut, and prep produce
  • Pack school lunches daily
  • Kitchen cleanup and maintenance
  • Manage Instacart orders, HelloFresh subscription, & grocery shopping in person
  • Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies
  • Manage running household supply lists
  • Manage household orders and subscriptions (Instacart/Amazon/Costco/Target)
  • Returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping
  • Redeem credit card benefits requiring in-person pickup
  • Mail and package handling
  • Break down boxes
  • Library book returns
  • Wash, fold, and organize laundry for entire household
  • Linen rotation
  • Maintain tidy and well-stocked laundry area
  • Schedule and attend maintenance appointments
  • Fuel, clean, and organize family vehicle weekly
  • Restock vehicle supplies (snacks, tissues)
  • Vacuum floors and car seats
  • Track registration and insurance renewals
  • Replace air fresheners
  • Occasional deep cleans: fridge, oven, baseboards, ceiling fans
  • Refresh zones throughout the house (garage, mudroom, entry areas, playroom)
  • Appliance maintenance: clean dishwasher, washing machine, descale coffee maker
  • Change air filters
  • Refresh and organize cupboards (Tupperware, glassware)
  • Declutter and remove expired items (markers, spices, old belongings)
  • Exterior holiday decorations (Halloween, Christmas lights)
  • Manage sign-up geniuses for sports and school
  • Process Venmo payments for sports/school activities
  • Replace household items: Brita filters, soap dispensers, screen protectors
  • Travel planning and logistics
  • Pay medical bills
  • Calendar management (including household schedules)
  • Receipt/budget tracking - reimbursement, house manager
  • Research and coordinate repairs and quotes
  • Seasonal property maintenance
  • Manage outdoor spaces
  • Oversee cleaners and contractors
