About The Position

This is a part-time role, requiring 12-18 hours per week with a guaranteed 12 hours. The schedule involves three days a week with 4-6 hour shifts, preferably during daytime weekday hours. The compensation is $28-32 per hour, with a start date of ASAP. The ideal candidate will help maintain household organization, support healthier eating habits through meal preparation, and keep the household running smoothly. The family values efficiency, collaboration, and someone who can work independently while staying connected to their needs. The role requires trustworthiness, discretion, reliability, and professionalism. The candidate should enjoy meal planning and preparation, enhancing household systems, running errands, tidying, and inventory management. Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain household organization systems
  • Daily resets and prep home for cleaners
  • Light tidying: dishes, surfaces, vacuuming high-traffic areas
  • Seasonal swaps as needed (clothing, décor, bedding)
  • Prepare and coordinate donation drop-offs as needed
  • Indoor plant care
  • Organizational projects (gear, pantry, garage, laundry room, linen closet)
  • Occasional deep cleans (fridge, oven, baseboards)
  • Refresh garage/mudroom/entry
  • Collaborative menu planning
  • Prep and cook healthy dinners 3-4 nights per week, fully prepared and ready to heat
  • Prep and wash fresh fruit and healthy snacks
  • Prep school lunches
  • Grocery shopping
  • Kitchen cleanup and maintenance
  • Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies
  • Manage running household supply lists
  • Handle household orders and subscriptions as needed
  • Returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping
  • Mail and package handling, sorting, and box breakdown
  • Wash, fold, and organize laundry as needed
  • Special garment care as needed
  • Linen rotation
  • Maintain tidy and well-stocked laundry area
  • Pick-ups/drop-offs, occasionally
  • Vet/grooming scheduling
  • Oversee cleaners/contractors/landscapers
  • Seasonal property maintenance
  • Manage outdoor spaces
  • Awareness of family calendar (including household schedules)
  • Receipt/budget tracking for expenses incurred as house manager
