About The Position

This is a part-time role, approximately 20-25 hours per week, primarily on-site for 3 days a week from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. There is flexibility for up to 5 additional hours per week of remote or off-site time for errands, vendor coordination, and administrative tasks, as well as 1-2 weekend organizational project sessions per month. The role involves maintaining a smoke-free environment and requires authorization to work in the United States. Reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and a valid driver's license are necessary, with mileage reimbursement provided for household-related driving during scheduled hours. Candidates must be up-to-date on recommended vaccinations and CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain). The family is a busy household of five, including two entrepreneurial parents, three children, and a grandmother. They are looking for a proactive individual who enjoys creating order, bringing structure to spaces, and developing household systems. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, resourceful, and comfortable around children, including neurodivergent kids. They should be warm, dependable, emotionally intelligent, and able to work respectfully within a multi-generational home. The core of the role is to help the family create a peaceful and organized home environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain household organization systems that are functional, sustainable, and adaptable.
  • Tackle long-standing clutter and organizational projects (e.g., decluttering toys, gear, outgrown items).
  • Coordinate seasonal clothing, décor, and bedding swaps.
  • Manage donation drop-offs and coordinate sales of items via Facebook Marketplace.
  • Monitor and address minor home maintenance needs.
  • Proactively identify household maintenance issues and manage resolution (research vendors, collect quotes, schedule work, oversee completion).
  • Coordinate and oversee cleaners, contractors, and service providers.
  • Research and vet a deep cleaning service.
  • Support seasonal property maintenance.
  • Manage the family calendar, including kids' activities, appointments, and household schedules.
  • Research activities, classes, and programs for the children and present options.
  • Handle mail and packages, establishing a sustainable sorting and organization system.
  • Break down boxes and handle recycling runs.
  • Research, plan, and book travel as needed.
  • Coordinate packing and unpacking for travel.
  • Collaborate on weekly meal planning.
  • Batch prep proteins, vegetables, snacks, and ingredients.
  • Prep grab-and-go lunches for parents.

  • Fill up family vehicles with gas as needed.
  • Coordinate car cleaning and interior organization.
  • Track registration and insurance for family vehicles and manage renewals/appointments.
