About The Position

We are a vibrant and close-knit family of four, with two young children who fill our home with joy and energy. Our household is often lively, with friends and extended family coming and going, as we love to entertain and make sure our home feels like a welcoming place for everyone. We truly value our time together, especially around the dinner table, where we make it a point to gather every evening for a family meal. It’s our chance to catch up, share stories, and enjoy each other’s company after our busy days. Life here is full of love, laughter, and a shared commitment to making every day meaningful. We thrive on a balance of routine and spontaneity, always finding time for outdoor adventures, creative projects, and, of course, family time. Mom is deeply passionate about horses and her personal and professional goals, while also being fully dedicated to supporting the flow of the family life. As the kids transition to preschool in the fall, we’re looking for someone who can not only assist with meal prep and household tasks but also provide personal support to manage the day-to-day flow of the family. We’re looking for someone who feels like a trusted member of our team, someone who can step in when needed, take initiative, and help keep things organized. Requirements

  • Maintain a smoke-free environment
  • Must have a valid U.S. passport (ability to travel domestically and internationally)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Experienced swimmer with ability to supervise children at the pool.
  • Proactive, warm, and adaptable individual who can take initiative while maintaining a professional and positive attitude.
  • Experience with children, particularly in the early years, and understand the importance of early childhood development, especially for toddlers and early school-age children.
  • Capable of collaborating on meal prep or cooking independently for the family, ensuring meals are nutritious, easy to prepare, and aligned with the family's preferences.
  • Tech-savvy mindset, comfortable navigating technology for tasks, driving, and managing family expectations in order to ensure the household runs smoothly through technology.
  • Strong attention to detail, takes pride in supporting home organization and performing daily resets to ensure the household remains tidy and welcoming.
  • Highly organized and intuitive, able to anticipate the family’s needs and adapt to their ever-changing schedules.
  • Comfortable with the responsibility of managing routines and staying on top of daily tasks, especially as the children transition to school.
  • Self-directed, takes ownership of responsibilities, and is open to feedback and personal growth.
  • Able to use car navigation and various tech apps

Responsibilities

  • Create and/or Maintain household organization systems
  • Daily resets and prep home for cleaners - game changer daily reset/ declutter
  • Light tidying (dishes, surfaces, vacuum high-traffic areas)
  • Seasonal swaps (clothing, décor, bedding)
  • Prepare and coordinate donation drop-offs
  • Help with Amazon returns
  • Event/holiday/guest prep
  • Packing/unpacking for travel
  • Weekly Pick-ups/drop-offs and support with transport to school and activities (dance, music classes, etc.) as needed
  • Supervise and help with childcare when needed
  • Support any kid-related errands
  • Help with kids morning routine for school
  • Organizational projects (toys, gear, closets all over home)
  • Grocery shopping
  • Align with family preferences and collaborate on cooking or ability to independently cook and prepare healthy meals 3-4x per week
  • Kitchen clean-up and maintenance
  • Wash/fold/organize laundry
  • Ironing/steaming and special garment care
  • Linen rotation
  • Special care items - vigilant with labels
  • Maintain and tidy laundry area
  • Restock pantry/fridge/household supplies
  • Manage running household supply lists
  • Manage household orders and subscriptions (Amazon/Costco/Target)
  • Returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping
  • Mail and package handling
  • Breakdown boxes
  • Weekly Reset and fueling/cleaning vehicles
  • Oversee cleaners/contractors/landscapers
