House Manager/Family Assistant

Sage Haus

About The Position

We are a busy, energetic family of five—two professionals, 7-month-old twins, and a 65-lb Goldendoodle. We’ve just made the leap from downtown Philadelphia to a new home in Villanova, and while we’re excited about the move, we’re in the thick of setting up and adjusting to life in a larger space. Between work, parenting, and the sheer number of things that come with a move like this, our days are packed and can sometimes feel like a juggling act. Both parents work from home—one full-time and one part-time—and while we love being close to our twins, it’s a lot to manage. We have a nanny who helps with the babies three days a week, but we need someone who can help us tackle everything else—organizing, errands, food prep, and making sure our home stays functional and welcoming. We’re an energetic, tech-savvy family who thrives on being efficient and staying ahead of things, but we also know that managing it all takes more than just us. We’re focused on making time for our twins as they grow, while creating a home that’s both comfortable and well-organized. It’s a lot of moving parts, but we’re excited for the future and would love to have someone who’s hands-on, proactive, and ready to help us build the structure we need to keep life flowing smoothly. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. You’ll need to be proactive, responsive, and comfortable balancing direction with taking initiative. You’re the type of person who doesn’t wait to be told what needs to be done—you see what needs attention and take action. You should be able to manage open-ended tasks from start to finish with a high level of organization and efficiency, all while keeping the big picture in mind. A pleasant and professional demeanor is important to us, and we value someone who is active, highly organized, and can maintain a high level of discretion and privacy. You should feel comfortable around our dog and around babies and young children. We’re looking for someone who isn’t just here to get the job done but is excited to become a part of our home, take ownership of tasks, and make a meaningful impact in the day-to-day running of our family’s life.
