About The Position

We are a warm, active family with three children ages 5, 7, and 9, looking for a reliable partner who can help bring more ease, organization, and breathing room to our weekly routines. Starting this fall, all three children will be attending the same elementary school, while our afternoons and evenings will be filled with a variety of activities, including year-round competitive swimming, gymnastics, soccer, and flag football. One parent works primarily from home but will begin spending 2–3 days per week in the office this fall, while the other works outside the home full-time. As our family calendar becomes increasingly full and our professional responsibilities continue to grow, we are seeking someone who can step in during the busiest parts of our week and help keep both the household and after-school hours running smoothly. Our goal is simple: spend less time managing logistics and more time enjoying family life. We hope to spend more time exploring local museums, enjoying the outdoors, going on bike rides, and creating meaningful family memories, rather than feeling consumed by household tasks and the constant rush between activities. We value kindness, gratitude, teamwork, and open communication, and we appreciate people who take initiative and genuinely enjoy helping families thrive. You are a proactive, organized, and dependable professional who genuinely enjoys helping busy families stay on top of the details of daily life. You naturally notice what needs attention, whether that's preparing for an upcoming activity, staying ahead of laundry, organizing a space, or helping a hectic afternoon run more smoothly. Rather than waiting for direction, you take initiative, think ahead, and look for ways to make life easier for the family you support. You enjoy working with school-age children and understand the unique energy that comes with after-school hours. You are patient, kind, and engaging, while also being confident enough to provide structure and maintain appropriate boundaries when needed. Strong communication is important to you, and you are comfortable giving and receiving feedback as part of a collaborative partnership with the family. You are flexible, adaptable, and able to navigate shifting priorities with a calm, steady presence. Because this role includes transporting children to and from activities, you are a safe, reliable driver with a clean driving record who feels confident using your own vehicle for work-related transportation. Most importantly, you take pride in creating order, reducing stress, and helping a household run smoothly behind the scenes. We are looking for someone who is warm, trustworthy, and invested in becoming a reliable, long-term partner for our family.
