House Manager & Family Assistant

Sage HausFestus, MO

About The Position

We’re a busy, go-with-the-flow family of four in Festus, Missouri. Both parents run their own businesses, so our days are full—but we care a lot about keeping our home calm, welcoming, and running smoothly. Our kids are fun, spirited, and full of personality. Our daughter is school-aged and thrives with a steady routine, and her afternoons often revolve around dance and soccer. Our son is in daycare most of the week and is happiest when he’s moving—weekends usually include hockey and lots of energy. What we’re missing is breathing room. The everyday tasks of running a home have started to take over the time we’d rather spend as a family. We’re looking for someone who can step in, take ownership, and lighten the mental load—someone proactive, reliable, and genuinely kind. We need a steady, capable presence who helps our home feel easier. You are someone who brings a calm, steady presence into our home — the kind of person kids naturally feel comfortable around. You’re warm, patient, and unflappable when little personalities are running big, and you can help our daughter stay grounded while keeping up with our son’s happy momentum. You’re also the proactive, organized type who notices what needs to be done (and just handles it), communicates clearly, and keeps us in the loop as the day unfolds — a quick update after school pickup, a heads-up when supplies are running low, or a note about what you tackled while the kids were out. You take pride in creating a home that feels tidy, cared for, and easy to live in, and you bring a reliable rhythm to a household that’s always in motion.
