About The Position

We are an active family of six in Beavercreek, Ohio, with four children ranging from preschool to early teen years. Our home is full, fast-paced, and fun, but requires significant coordination. We are seeking an experienced, systems-minded professional to help manage our household systems, meal planning, and family logistics. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and brings a warm, grounded presence to our faith-based, high-energy household. We are health-conscious and looking to gradually incorporate cleaner products and more balanced eating habits.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Maintain a smoke-free environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to navigate three flights of stairs comfortably.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willing to obtain).
  • Comfortable working in a Christian household.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily household resets including dishwasher management, surface wiping, vacuuming, trash handling, and tidying.
  • Maintain and improve existing household organization systems, evolving setups to better suit family usage.
  • Conduct monthly walk-throughs for deeper cleaning coordination and proactive home maintenance tasks like battery and light bulb changes.
  • Manage meal planning for a family of six, including planning and preparing 3-4 dinners per week, accommodating the family calendar and preferences.
  • Plan and prep school lunches in advance and ensure breakfast staples are stocked.
  • Perform grocery shopping, including in-store and delivery options.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Fully manage children's laundry, including washing, folding, and putting away.
  • Sort and distribute returns from the laundry service (towels, bed linens, parents' clothing) and place sheets in bedrooms before cleaners arrive.
  • Treat stains on clothing and inspect kids' clothing during the laundry routine.
  • Maintain a tidy and well-stocked laundry area.
  • Manage running household supply lists, restocking pantry, fridge, freezer, toiletries, and household supplies.
  • Handle miscellaneous errands such as returns, donation drop-offs, and gift shopping.
  • Break down and recycle boxes on an ongoing basis.
  • Make and coordinate family appointments (medical, dental, speech therapy, etc.).
  • Monitor school communications, ensure events and deadlines are on the family calendar, and flag scheduling conflicts.
  • Manage the household and family calendar in coordination with existing systems.
  • Lay out children's clothing and school items for the next day.
  • Provide occasional school pickups and drop-offs using the family vehicle.
  • Offer backup childcare on an occasional as-needed basis.
  • Maintain a household maintenance calendar for recurring tasks and ensure completion.
  • Act as the on-site point of contact for cleaners, contractors, and other vendors.
  • Research and present contractor options for new repair or project needs.
  • Manage existing vendor relationships and keep vendor/payment information organized.
  • Support seasonal property transitions, including outdoor furniture, holiday decor, and preparing outdoor spaces.
  • Conduct weekly checks of garage, entry, deck, and basement areas for cleanliness and usability.
  • Conduct organizational projects throughout the home as needed (e.g., clothing and toy purges, refining storage).
  • Coordinate seasonal swaps for clothing, bedding, and decor.
  • Support packing and unpacking for family travel, including checklist development.
  • Assist with event and guest preparation for holidays and family gatherings.
  • Keep the third family vehicle fueled and ready for use.
  • Schedule routine vehicle maintenance.
  • Ensure family vehicle documents are scanned and organized.
