About The Position

We are a busy, warm, and high-functioning household seeking an exceptional House Manager/Family Assistant with Childcare Support. This part-time role (20-25 hours per week) offers the opportunity to grow into a fuller position. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and comfortable supporting a busy family with three young children. This role involves a mix of household management, family support, and potential for executive/personal assistant tasks. We are a Type-A household that values organization, intentionality, and efficiency, and we are looking for someone who brings that same energy to help our household run smoothly and with less friction.

Requirements

  • Maintain a smoke-free environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • CPR and First Aid certified, or willing to obtain certification prior to start.
  • Relevant household or family assistant experience.
  • Professional and polished communication skills.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable managing details using calendars, spreadsheets, online ordering systems, and digital tools.

  • Fragrance-light approach preferred.
  • Candidates with meaningful executive assistant or business support experience may be considered at a higher rate.
  • Tech-forward or curious about AI tools.

Responsibilities

  • Family Support: School and activity pickups and drop-offs, light supervision and backup childcare, preparing backpacks, school clothing, lunches, and healthy snacks, kid-related errands, appointment reminders and occasional transport.
  • Household Organization & Maintenance: Building and maintaining organization systems, daily resets and light tidying, prepping the home for cleaning visits, seasonal swaps, holiday decorating, supporting family gatherings, weekly tidy of toy/activity areas, and assistance with seasonal prep at a second property.
  • Inventory & Errands: Grocery shopping, restocking pantry/fridge/household supplies, managing household orders and subscriptions, mail and package handling, donation drop-offs and returns.
  • Laundry & Linens: Putting away laundered clothing, coordinating laundry gathering, weekly linen rotation and sheet refreshing, maintaining a tidy laundry area.
  • Meal Support (preferred): Prepping 1-2 dinners per week, grab-and-go breakfast batch prep, prepping healthy kids' snacks and school lunches, light kitchen clean-up.
  • Vehicle Upkeep: Weekly clean-out and reset of family vehicles, coordinating vehicle maintenance drop-offs.
  • Administrative & EA Support (growth potential): Calendar management and appointment reminders, travel planning and logistics coordination, remote business-related task support, potential expansion into EA support for the family business.
