House Manager Aide
About The Position
Merakey is seeking House Manager Aides to join their team at their program in Philadelphia, PA. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong desire to create long-term impacts on individuals' lives and enjoy encouraging, mentoring, and coaching others to achieve their goals. The House Manager Aide will spend their days in a variety of settings making memories with individuals, following their Individual Support Plan to work on social and communication skills, and enhancing independence by assisting with daily hygiene and personal care. They will also foster a sense of pride by teaching individuals to navigate daily living activities such as housekeeping and laundry.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Dual Diagnosis experience is preferred.
- A strong desire to create long-term impacts on their individuals lives.
- Enjoy encouraging, mentoring, and coaching others to achieve their goals.
