About The Position

Professionally clean customer homes using Merry Maids’ cleaning procedures and products while providing exceptional customer service. House Cleaners work as part of a close-knit team and help maintain positive relationships with customers. The role involves using provided equipment and supplies, cleaning a range of household surfaces and floors, and supporting the team by maintaining equipment and keeping supplies stocked. Requirements

Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and understand their uses.
Ability to read cleaning instructions.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift and carry 20 pounds of equipment.
Ability to withstand regular physical contact with dog and cat hair, mold, dust, mildew, and cleaning solutions.
Ability to drive to and from various job sites.

Responsibilities

Use Merry Maids cleaning products and procedures in customers’ homes.
Use provided equipment, including vacuums and microfiber cleaning cloths.
Clean household surfaces, including fans, blinds, light fixtures, baseboards, fixtures, counters, showers, toilets, cabinets, and floors.
Clean floors on hands and knees in kitchens and bathrooms.
Vacuum stairs, carpet, hard-surface floors, and furniture.
Move reasonably moveable furniture to clean underneath and behind it.
Carry cleaning products and equipment between the office, vehicle, and customers’ homes.
Help keep supplies stocked and maintain equipment.
Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and support the team effort by being in uniform, dependable, and on time.
Treat coworkers and customers with respect and understanding.
