About The Position
The House Attendant helps create a clean, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for hotel guests. The role maintains public areas, assists guests with friendly and helpful service, and supports the setup of meetings and events. It also supports the housekeeping team and requires attention to detail, physical capability, and a positive, service-oriented attitude. The position is at voco Orange County Airport in a lakeside hotel in the South Coast Metro area, about one mile from John Wayne Airport. The property includes guest rooms, a business center, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, jogging paths, and ballroom space for meetings and events.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver’s license for the applicable state required.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record (MVR) required if driving is property specific.
- Ability to perform well in stressful or high-pressure situations.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a hotel or related field is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Keep equipment and facilities clean.
- Tidy and polish lobbies, hallways, restrooms, carpets, furniture, and fixtures.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and provide friendly service.
- Help set up meetings and events, including chairs, tables, and technology.
- Keep sensitive areas secure and handle lost-and-found items appropriately.
- Follow safe work habits to prevent injuries.
