About The Position

Nucar Hyundai of North Kingstown is seeking Hourly Technicians to join its team. This role is an hourly alternative to flat-rate work, with opportunities to build automotive knowledge and skills. The position includes a yearly retention bonus. Qualified candidates should have at least one year of automotive service experience and knowledge and experience in drivability and engine diagnostics. Work includes preventive maintenance, alignments, brake service, related repairs, and repairs up to major engine work. The shop has modern equipment for servicing current vehicles.

Requirements

At least one year of automotive service experience.
Knowledge and experience in drivability and engine diagnostics.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well with others.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance services.
Perform alignments and brake services.
Complete related automotive repairs, including major engine repairs.
Diagnose drivability and engine issues.
Complete work accurately and correctly the first time.
