About The Position

Griswold Home Care for Blair County is seeking experienced in-home caregivers for day, evening, and overnight shifts. We are looking for reliable, communicative, and compassionate individuals who take pride in their work and want to build lasting relationships with clients. Our clients depend on consistency and peace of mind, so we need caregivers who understand the importance of reliability and communication, in addition to compassion. This role involves helping older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience caring for older adults
• High School Diploma or GED
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable personal vehicle
• Valid car insurance
• Ability to successfully complete required background and employment screenings
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
• Three strong professional references

Nice To Haves

• Previous in-home caregiving experience
• Experience with personal care
• Experience working with clients with dementia or other age-related conditions
• Experience communicating with families and care teams

Responsibilities

• Companionship and meaningful engagement
