If you frequently cancel shifts, arrive late, or have difficulty communicating, this position may not be the right fit. We expect honesty, accountability, and communication.

Requirements

2+ years of experience caring for older adults in a home care or facility setting
Take scheduled shifts seriously
Arrive on time and be prepared to work
Communicate promptly when an issue arises
Comfortable working independently in a client's home
Follow care plans and office instructions
Notice changes in a client's condition, mood, or needs and communicate them appropriately
Take initiative rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done
Treat clients, families, and coworkers with professionalism and respect
High School Diploma or GED
Authorized to work in the United States
Valid driver's license
Reliable personal vehicle
Valid car insurance
Ability to successfully complete required background and employment screenings
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently
