About The Position

The Trolley Driver is responsible for safely operating a trolley to transport internal and external guests along designated routes. The driver ensures passenger safety, provides excellent customer service, and represents KLECH and KTTT with professionalism.

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years' experience working directly with people, such as in customer service or hospitality.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Clean driving record and demonstrated driving experience.
  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws, and safety protocols.
  • Communication skills in English both written and oral.
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a KTTT Gaming Commission License, including successful completion of background check necessary to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
  • Must be able to provide authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation to commute to and from work.
  • Must comply with KLECH handbook, internal policy and procedures, and gaming regulations set within KLECH

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish or other language skills a plus.
  • Qualified Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Members and qualified Native American preference is observed.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with the applicable Tribal, Federal and other laws, gaming regulations, and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino/Hotel policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the highest possible standards of guest services by properly listening and responding to guest questions.
  • Assist guests safely, promptly, and courteously with shuttle/trolley services from casino parking lots on property.
  • Drive safely and announce all stops.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of company facilities, special events, and promotions to be able to accurately answer questions for internal and external guests.
  • Maintain knowledge of KLECH, tribal property, and local community to be able to accurately answer questions for internal and external guests.
  • Immediately report all mechanical difficulties and maintenance needs of shuttles/trolleys to hotel leadership.
  • Inspect trolleys/shuttles before and after use, verifying that everything is clean, and in good working condition.
  • Report any and all accidents or injuries immediately to Hotel Management.
  • Responsible for logging in/out radio, and trolley/shuttle keys before heading out to work site.
  • Responsible for placing tip container in trolley/shuttle for tip use only.
  • Responsible for complying and following KLECH Tip policies immediately at the end of each shift.
  • Remain mobile to ensure all guests are safely commuted to and from the Casino and Hotel which includes the parking garage and RV Park.
  • Demonstrate and promote KLECH core values.
  • Manage and maintain security of confidential information entrusted to position.
  • Attend and satisfactorily complete all required training as assigned.
  • Monitor compliance with Federal SAR as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
