About The Position

Controls traffic for guests on Northern Quest Resort and Casino property. Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians- State of Washington Gaming Compact, Internal Controls, NIGC Regulations and Northern Quest Resort and Casino Policies and Procedures. Maintains four star/four diamond service standards and adheres to all Hotel and Casino Policies. Helps move traffic on Northern Quest Resort and Casino property as directed by the Guest Service Manager, following staging guidelines to move traffic to areas of available parking. Assists guests in parking and gives directions as needed. Calls for shuttle as needed to transport guests to the casino or hotel entrances. Operates a radio or similar device to communicate with supervisors and fellow team members. Fulfills any reasonable work requested by a Manager or Supervisor. Will at times be required to assist the Valet, Transportation and Guest services department as needed. Uses proper interpersonal skills when dealing with customers and employees. Ensures guest confidentiality standards are followed. Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular good attendance record. Ensures control/protection of company assets. Requirements

Ability to drive both automatic and manual shift vehicles.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with department head and employees.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Kalispel Tribal Gaming License.
Valid State Driver’s License (Must be in possession while operating guest or tribal vehicles).
Will be able to obtain FBI Identity History Summary yearly.
Will be able to obtain Washington State Patrol criminal history report yearly.
Provide a Driver Abstract yearly.
Must be able to be insured by the company insurance carrier.
Pass a NQC traffic flagging school.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a four star/four diamond hotel preferred.
Knowledge of a 24-hour, 7 day a week operation.
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
