About The Position

The Hotel Operations Person supports the Hampton Inn Western Ave housekeeping department by maintaining cleanliness and organization in public areas, assisting room attendants, delivering supplies, and helping ensure a positive guest experience. The role contributes to the hotel's overall appearance and cleanliness while providing customer service. It may also support meeting room setup, special events, and other operational needs.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hospitality experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist room attendants with cleaning and preparing guest rooms.
Deliver linens, towels, amenities, and housekeeping supplies to designated areas.
Collect and transport dirty linens to the laundry area.
Stock housekeeping closets and storage rooms.
Clean and maintain lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, meeting rooms, and other public spaces.
Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and polish assigned areas.
Remove trash and recyclables from public areas and back-of-house locations.
Keep entrances and exterior areas clean and presentable.
Respond to guest requests for extra towels, pillows, blankets, and amenities.
Assist guests with directions and general inquiries.
Maintain a friendly, professional, service-oriented attitude.
Assist with meeting room and banquet setup and breakdown as needed.
Move furniture, equipment, and supplies throughout the property.
Support special events and operational needs.
Follow hotel safety and sanitation standards.
Report maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards promptly.
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
