About The Position

The Residence Inn Miami Aventura Mall is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a high-performing Front Office team, create memorable guest experiences, and help shape a welcoming extended-stay environment where guests and Associates feel valued. This role is ideal for a service-focused leader who enjoys coaching others, solving problems, partnering across departments, and making a visible impact on hotel operations daily. The hotel is a 9-story, 191-suite property with over 5,000 square feet of flexible event space, conveniently located between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, within walking distance to Aventura Mall and minutes from Gulfstream Park & Casino, Hard Rock Stadium, and Sunny Isles & Hallandale Beaches. Turnberry Select Service Hotels, the owner and operator, is Great Place to Work® Certified.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of hotel experience required, preferably in Guest Services or Front Office operations.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred, with demonstrated ability to support team performance, training, scheduling, and accountability.
  • Ability to lead, coach, motivate, and develop Front Office Associates while building teamwork, accountability, and a positive service culture.
  • Strong guest service, service recovery, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced hotel environment.
  • Ability to plan daily assignments, prioritize competing needs, delegate effectively, and support smooth Front Office operations.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Professional presence, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate clearly with guests, Associates, vendors, and leadership.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hotel property management systems such as FOSSE and GXP preferred.
  • Experience working in a Marriott-branded or extended-stay hotel environment preferred.
  • Spanish or additional language skills preferred.
  • Four-year degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred.
