About The Position

As a 56-room lifestyle hotel in the heart of Old San Juan and part of Marriott's Autograph Collection, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences through personalized service, thoughtful design, and outstanding culinary offerings. Our property features: Mar y Rosa – a vibrant rooftop dining experience, Andaluz – refined haute cuisine in an elegant setting, Café at Alma – a contemporary café serving locals and travelers alike. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Hotel Manager to join our leadership team and help drive operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and team development.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive hotel operations leadership experience.
  • Experience managing Front Office, Housekeeping, and/or Engineering teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Marriott International experience.
  • Experience in lifestyle, luxury, boutique, or Autograph Collection hotels.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Front Office, Housekeeping, and Engineering operations.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with Marriott Autograph Collection standards.
  • Maintain operational excellence and service consistency.
  • Deliver exceptional guest satisfaction throughout the entire guest journey.
  • Resolve guest concerns and service recovery situations promptly.
  • Oversee VIP, owner, and special guest requests.
  • Lead, coach, and develop department leaders and associates.
  • Support recruitment, training, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and hospitality excellence.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and expense control.
  • Monitor departmental productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement through guest feedback and performance metrics.
