About The Position

This position is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure guest satisfaction and the proper functioning of hotel facilities. The role involves completing preventive maintenance checklists, performing basic repairs, and interacting with guests to address their needs. The technician will also report any significant maintenance or safety issues to management and adhere to quality standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of general maintenance skills: e.g.: carpentry, painting, minor plumbing, electrical, handyman, HVAC and pool/spa preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Follows guest room preventive maintenance checklist.
  • Completes room preventive maintenance and ensures that on completion the room is clean, and all materials removed.
  • Performs basic repairs including but not limited to replacing light fixtures, repairing grout, caulking, tightening loose toilet seats, performing minor plumbing/electrical repair, painting, or wall repairs.
  • Interacts with guests and addresses guest needs in a timely and supportive manner.
  • Reports any serious maintenance issues, findings, or safety issues immediately to the manager/ supervisor.
  • Complies with quality assurance expectations and standards.
