Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including being on call for emergencies.
- Solid understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in maintenance-related fields is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Review the maintenance log and address any pending issues to ensure all systems are fully operational.
- Perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance on critical hotel systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
- Respond to maintenance requests from various departments, ensuring guest rooms and common areas are in perfect condition.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, front desk, and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities seamlessly.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas in need of attention and maintain hotel assets.
- Contribute technical expertise to longer-term projects such as room renovations or system upgrades.
- Keep meticulous records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Identify potential hazards and address them promptly, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Be on call for urgent maintenance issues outside of regular working hours.
